10 May 2012 IDBI Bank has deducted TDS on fiancial year 2009-10. But did not claim for this on the Return of F.Y.2009-10. Can We claim on for TDS on F.Y.2010-11 Return?

10 May 2012 Dear Author,

You can not claim TDS pertaining to the year 2009-10 in the year 2010-11. Since, Every year is different and assessed separately.
You should have filed the revised return before 31/03/2012, now it is time barred and accordingly, you can not claim TDS for F.Y 2009-10.

However, The assessing officer can deduct your tax liability while processing the return or making an order.
