My querry is that i m architect by profession and i was carrying partnership firm 3years back.Firm got dissolved in dec. 2008 and i took over as proprietorship.Now the issue arise,i forgot to change PAN no. and tds is now being deducted in the name of
partnership firm instead of proprietor. what should i do now?secondely i have not informed service tax deptt. regarding the same and no. is of firm.
kindly advise what should I do to claim tds deducted in the name of firm and service tax deptt.

within 30 days you should have intimated to all the authorities about the dissolution. Since you are continuing the same line of business, you need to obtain a PAN in your name & get new Service tax regn in your proprietorship concern name. You need to provide your personal pan to your tds deductor and get it corrected.
