Please tell me whether the present rate of TDS on Casual income is 30% or 30.9% i.e. education cess is levied at 30% or not.

Education cess is applicable only in case of TDS in case of non-residents,foreign companies and on salary paid to residents.
Hence, TDS rate on casual income is 30% only.

earlier e.cess was applicable on TDS of residents upto july 09 but the same was removed thereafter.
