We deposited the TDS by wrongly quoting PAN inplace of TAN, please provide the remedy

24 August 2010 TDS payment based on PAN is not possible only as PAN is 10 digit and TAN is 11 digits.

24 August 2010 Oh yes but still PAN number is totally different. The challan must not have been accepted then also as PAN & TAN is completely different.
