18 June 2010 DEAR ALL,
i have deducted TDS at the time of making reimbursment of Appeal Fees to my lawyer by mistake and have deposited the same to the Department timely as well as Quarterly Return has also been filed in time... Now My Lawyer refused to accept Form No 16A with the aforesaid transaction and told me to correct the certificate....
Plz advice what to do?

18 June 2010 What is the exact grievance of your lawyer. Whether he is objecting to the gross amount/tax amount or both.

In case he is adamant, you have to go in for filing correction statement.
