I got sum of RS.8300000/- from land acquisition by govt. I did the FD in nationalised bank. Bank is denying to accept 15g.. Please guide us

You are earning taxable income on this deposit so bank will not accept 15g.

What happen if anyhow I submitted the 15g

Sir thank you for your response but the acquisition officer told that your money is totally tax free and I have submitted 15g mentioning it's my responsibility.

The version of Bank is correct.You will not give 15 G.It is against Tax laws
