16 May 2013 I RECEIVED INTEREST ON TERM DEPOSIT AFTER DEDUCTING TDS @10%.I HAD LATE SUBMITTED FORM 15H (AFTER 5DAYS FROM THE DATE OF DEDUCTION),HOW CAN I APPEAL FOR THIS REFUND IN INCOME -TAX DEPARTMENT

16 May 2013 no not required for attestation,
if no other income other than above interest file ITR-1,
if the income is of the period 12-13 you can file your return easily, even online
if the income is of the period after 01.04.13, you can file your return after 31.03.14.

04 July 2013 You file your return in ITR 1 fill up the TDS column and it can be done from the computer on which you are sitting and you need not go to the Income Tax Department. What you have to do is. First download the form and then activate it then fill it up and upload the XLM version of the form. Before this you have to activate your account in the site of incometaxindiaefiling then you can upload otherwise you cannot login.
