Dear Sir,
I have let out our commercial building to a health clinic. The tanant is paying rent after deducting the TDS every month. The rent has been paid from April 2013 onwars. The has PAN and TAN. For the ended 31st March 2014, the tenant has not issued to me any TDS Certificate for the tax deducted from the rent inspite of my repeated pleas. when I have verified the Form 26AS, the amount of TDS deducted by the tenant has not been found. I think that the tenant might have eitheir failed to remit the TDS to govt account or failed to e-file Form 26Q if he so remitted amount. But I have made my claim for TDS deduction in my income tax return. So please give me your advice to whom I have to complain about the non-issuance of TDS Certificates by the tenant. My Jurisdictional Income Tax office is Madurai.

Inform the TDS officer of the tenant.
