what all files or documents or Tally entries do you have to check to verify that the TDS paid is same as the TDS deducted?? Do we have to check the ledger of deductees randomly??

the tds paid can be checked from bank a/c or cash a/c of paid in cash.

well you have to reconcile the deductions with the payments...that is necessary to obviate any chances of future interest liability.
