We have received demand notice on account of short deduction of Tds on salary for f.y 2010-11 for our employees. kindly suggest how to deal wth this issue.

While filing the returns are you calculated correctly as per the section. In case if it is correct kindly file letter to Income Tax Officer by explaining all the details.
In case if your calculation is wrong then pay the amount as mentioned in demand notice.
