I have received many notices from TDS CPC Ghaziabad having different issues like short deduction of TDS, penalty u/s 234E for late filing of returns, interest for not depositing Tax into governments account even after deducting it from deductee's account. I just want to ask that whatever the case may be; after paying that challan do we need to send written submission regarding its payment to Ghaziabad?

After paying the challan of Penalty amount. you must have to revise the particular return. make prior correction in this revise return.i.e. interest etc. and upload .fvu file to tdscpc.gov.in

But one more thing do we need to revise the return in case it is TDS cut but not credited to the govternment? (As that will not make difference to the deductee.)
