IS there any TDS liability on ordering foods from hostel dealing in restaurant
eg: i order 1000 lunch box from xyz restaurent, shal i liable to deduct tds on payment.

TDS will not be applicable as it will amount to normal sales from the perspective of the restaurent and there is no need for TDS on usual business sales and purchases. TDS is applicable on the specific cases metnioned under IT Act u/s 194.
