07 August 2010 WE HAVE DEDUCTED TDS ON VENDOR INVOICE AND PAID TO DEPARTMENT ON 7TH OF THE MONTH BUT NOW PARTY IS GIVING THE TDS EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE FOR THE SAME

07 August 2010 You may consider the exemption certificate for subsequent payments. As there was no intimation by the payee about such exemption at the time of payment,you have rightly deducted tax & remitted to the Govt.
