Dear Expert
if a party issue a bill including service tax
then on which amount I have to deduct TDS on TOTAL Bill amount or Net amount on which S Tax is charged.
Kindly help me in this matter.

As per CBDT circurlar 4/2008 Dated 28/04/2008
TDS on Rent u/s 194 i Tds is deduted excluding service tax.Other cases Tds is to be deducted including service tax.
