Taxes on transfer of stock

17 November 2012 dear sir,
we need to transfer the stock-in-trade from our Delhi branch to Noida branch So please tell me how the sales tax and other taxes will be applicable and also the forms that will be needed for this transfer

17 November 2012 I Think You will require 'F' Form for Stock Transfer @0% Tax from Delhi to Noida, but after going Material to Noida Vat rates of UP will Become Automatically Applicable suppose the Item Carrying There @14% you have to Pay 14% at the Time of Sale. A person Can not Sale himself therefore, mere Stock Transfer from One Branch in a state to Another Branch in Another state does not attract VAT since the Entity is Same. I m not having much knoledge about DVAT but in C.G.State such Transactions under even Pakka Adhatiya you may transfer Stock from one state to another state @0%.
