29 December 2009 Please inform below mentioned benefits whether taxable in employee’s hand. If taxable please give under which section?

1) Telephone (also Mobile) Reimbursement.
2) Medical Reimbursement.
3) Vehicle 4 Wheeler is taxable but Vehicle 2 Wheeler Provided by Employer to the employee (Company having own vehicle) and Petrol & Maintenance Expenses. (Partially official & Partial Personal)

31 December 2009 Agreed...

All expenses will be taxable u/s 17(2),i.e., Perquisites.

1) Mobile reimbursement if for Official use then exempt otherwise taxable.

2) Medical Amount upto Rs. 15,000 Per Annuam is exempt if not Provided for any Govt. Hospital, Any Hospital approved by CIT or Hospital maintained by Employer.

3) This treatment not given, but according to me Rs. 900 pm would be taxable, if vehicle used partly personal & partly official.
