21 March 2011 we are doing small business ie creating web designing to u s clients .and receving income in dollars. Is this in come is taxable in India if it is yes means pl in form the % of tax

21 March 2011 It is taxable.

And at normal rates as applicable to ordinary citizens of India.

If your income exceeds Rs.160000 then you are liable to pay taxes and also file return of income to the IT department.

since you are providing services from india so As per Income Tax this is called income acccrue and arise in India and u r liable to pay taxes accordingly, if web desighner is Individual Slab Rate will applicable in other cases you will have to pay taxes on Re 1 income. (see slab Rate for required period on Internet)
