29 August 2009 as we are two brothers and our names are included in the Court decree for compensation receved Rs.1850000/-
and interest on compensation Rs.1825000/- received during the financial year 2008-09, TDS RS.234000/- has been deducted on the interest amount.Whether can we file and claim refund of TDS on individual filing of returns--in our records of right both names are there as basappa , and iswarappa son of bhimappa.Kindly mention the procedure to get refund on indvidual basis seperately.
ours is a urban agriculture land acquired by Govt,HDUDA during 1999-2000 before acquisiton we are using it for our own agriculture till 2001-02.
There is no PAN no mentioned on Form No 16A.

29 August 2009 It is not possible. but still we belive that then go for tin-nsdl site and registration for viewing tax credit for you and your brother pan no. and u will find out in which name tax is deducted and credited.
