Dear Sir/Madam, My brother resigned from his employment (after 10 years of service) in feb-17. He continued to maintain his EPF account even after resgination without withdrawing any amount. Will the interest received after resignation on the accumulated balance be taxable? If yes, what is the point (time) of taxation and what is the taxable amount of interest?
