25 February 2023 Can anyone give me correct information as to whether the interest amount received by a central govt. pensioner on the delayed payment of gratuity is taxable or exempt as retirement benefits . thanks

25 February 2023 All such interest income is taxable under head “Other sources”. You will be liable to tax based on your income slab.
