HE HAD SALARY INCOME OF Rs. 180000 IN F.Y. 2013-14.WHETHER HE CAN FILE HIS INCOME TAX RETURN OR HIS INCOME IS TO BE CLUBBED IN THE INCOME OF THE PARENTS.

02 July 2014 For that year the income should b clubbed in the income of parents. And after from 20/06/14 he will individually file his return.

02 July 2014 BUT AS PER PROVISO 1A TO SECT 64(1) SAYS THAT NOTHING IN SUBSECTION APPLY IN RESPECT OF SUCH INCOME AS ARISES OR ACCRUES TO THE MINOR CHILD ON ACCOUNT OF ANY
(A) MANUAL WORK DONE BY HIM OR
(B) ACTIVITY INVOLVING APPLICATION OF HIS SKILL, TALENT OR SPECIALISED KNOWLEDGE OR EXPERIENCE.
IN LIGHT OF THE ABOVE KINDLY ADVISE.

02 July 2014 You are saying Mr.X is minor and having salary income, Salary earns due to the personal skills or talent of the individual person, So Mr.X's salary income not to go club with his parents income.
Has to file his individual return with his own PAN number as on 31-3-2014 he is minor required to file his return of income under representative assessee means has to file Mr.X's return of income by his parents.(as this provision is not provided at any where in income tax according to my knowledge but based on the provision for computation of senior citizen or not i just said it),so i may be wrong or right. So please be wait for other experts replies and views.
