Tax slab for co-operative Society

10 January 2011 A Co-operative Society is having its PAN No. of a Firm. Now what will be the tax slab for it whether 30% of firm or 10% of society?

10 January 2011 It seems that the Co-operative society was alloted PAN of firm by mistake and therefore, please get correct PAN first. Rate of tax for a co-operative society shall be charged as specifically provided for and not as per firm. Please also note that PAN has to nothing with tax rates.
