you can invest in New Pension Scheme and get additional deductiin of 50k
apart from this deductions for medical treatment of self and dependents and for certain illnesses and disease are available. honestly facts are very important, otherwise one can just go through Chapter VIA to see which section is applicable to you

First go through the Chapter- VI under income tax act to know the various types of deduction available . Based on your source of income do follow the Income tax rules to get the tax benefit.
