06 August 2012 If someone put wrong bank a/c no in the IT Return form and gets the Cheque from the IT dept mentioning the wrong A/C no, then the person can get the cheque cleared through his banker.What will be the procedure to get retify the mistake and get back the refund?

06 August 2012 Cheque can not be cleared by the paying banker. Take the cheque to income taqx department and ask for the revalidation of cheque in new account number.
