10 April 2012 Sir / Madam,
I am a graduate completed my B.Com degree from Calcutta University, and also completed MBA and now I pursuing ICWAI-inter.

Can anybody please tell me about the procedure of getting income tax / sale tax practitoner lisence from Income Tax Department / sale Tax Department.

12 April 2012 Mr Author,
Please refer to rule 209A,as per which you have to file an application to The Commissioner to WB Sales Tax Dept, on a plain paper,giving deatails such as : your name,your father's name,age, qualifications,address etc along with copies of certificates. The commissioner will make necessary enquiries and issue a certificate in form87....MJK

12 April 2012 For income tax you will get the certificate of ITP (Income Tax Practitioner) for this you have to appear before any Income Tax authority with one or two seniors and the copy of the assessment order alongwith the B.Com certificate is to be sent to the Commissioner of Income Tax he will grant you the certificate of ITP as regards ST you have properly been guided by the expert I agree with him
