X pvt ltd filed return within 30-09-2015. After the assessment an intimation order for demand notice received by the company which contains default of advance tax payment (234B).My query is while filing the challan for paying the above it will come under interest or tax coloum, also the amount to be paid online or manually on a barcoded challan copy recived from income tax alongwith the intimation?

Dear Amit,
The demand raised under intimation can be paid online or offline. But it is better practice to pay online.
Further the demand of interest u/s 234B should be paid in interest column. However it can be paid under tax column. The department wants only all dues is to be paid by the assessee.
