tax payer is expired, without making any will, or registered will,
plz inform legal procedure for distribution of his investment and assets to his family member.

If the tax payer is a Hindu, then distribute according to Hindu law or the members may enter into partition deed or settlement deed.
In case of a non Hindu, Indian Succession Act will be applicable
