09 November 2009 Dear Sir
I am a mechant navy officer and my company located outside india and I dont have any income from India.Normally my contract is for 5 months onboard and 3 months leave .But at some circumstances I had stayed more than 183 days in India during some FY.I ve not yet filed any return so far.My questions are
1)Should I file returns?
2)If yes should I pay tax?
2)How will I file for the returns for previous FY?

You have to file the return and required to pay your tax.
