17 August 2009 My self assessment Income Tax liability was 4880/-, which i paid on 30/07/2009 but ITR is not filled till now. Is there any Tax OR Interest arising ?

17 August 2009 No any Tax or Interest liability will arise be cause as on date of filing of return your tax liability will be zero and consequently no interest will be attracted.

18 August 2009 No interest to be paid,you dont have tax liability to pay interest on that. You can file ITR return within march 2010....
