13 June 2017 Hi,

I am a proprietor of Recruitment Services Consulting ( Not into contractual hiring ) firm based at Delhi.
I need clarification on GST charges and rules applicable for my firm.
1) How much is the rate of GST for Recruitment Service providers?
2) Rules to file Tax and returns
3) How to claim the tax which has been deposited by me but later on has not paid by client?

13 June 2017 1) The GST rate is 18%.
2) 1 GSTR 1 Outward supplies made by taxpayer (other than compounding taxpayer and ISD) 10th of the next month
2 GSTR 2 Inward supplies received by a taxpayer (other than a compounding taxpayer and ISD) 15thof the next month
3 GSTR 3 Monthly return (other than compounding taxpayer and ISD) 20thof the next month
Pay the tax on or before 20th of every month based on GSTR 3.
3) You can't claim it back.

13 June 2017 Compounding dealer is person dealing in goods opted for composition scheme, such scheme not applicable for service provider. ISD Inter state dealer.
