03 November 2017 Dear Mr.srinivas, No we cannot set-off VAT liability with GST Input. But you can claim already paid VAT by filing GSTR TRANS 1

What is question...?
You can get any ITC in VAT regime then you can claim the ITC in GST from the way of "FORM - TRAN 1"

Otherwise any liabilities in Previous Tax Regimes then we ll pay it to the previous Tax departments...
