13 May 2010 can tax on perquisities(sodexo meal pass; reimbursement of newspaper bills)of employees borne by the company ?

if yes, then how to show the income in the employees return and the tax portion borne by the company.

13 May 2010 No,now fringe benefit tax is not payable by company while such perquisites are considered as part of employees salary so tax should be charged as per their tax calculation and IT act.
