19 August 2009 I have a sole proprietorship firm from last 15 years,i want to register it and want to maintain proper e-filing of return of income of the firm. I have Made my pan card in the year 2006. All the transactions of the firm are done through bank account which is in the name of the firm.Till now i haven't file any return of income.
How should i proceed to get my firm register and maintain a proper tax file of the firm?

22 August 2009 In case of proprietorship, the return is filed in the name of proprietor in individual capacity. no seprate return is filed.you can maintain the firms balance sheet & other final accounts, which will be part of your return only.
