07 December 2015 When I was in service , due to mistake a Revised Return for Ass. Yr. 2009-2010 was submitted on 31-07-2009 , Token /Acknowledgement No. 1530003819 showing actual Gross Total Income as per my FORM-16. But it was not updated accordingly and as a result extra tax liabilities of Rs. 740/- was imposed upon me by an intimation u/s 143(1) dated 23-07-2010. Reply to the intimation was sent on 09-03-2011 with my supporting documents and thereafter no letter from IT Dept.Then it was thought that the case was settled.

Now CPC, Bangalore intimated me u/s 245 for Outstanding Tax Demand and advised to settle the case with the Jurisdictional Officer as it was then submitted manually.Several times I sent my supporting documents to my Jurisdiction Officer but tax demand still exists and as a result my refund demand is held up for Ass. Yr. 2015-16.

Please advise me what I can do now for settlement of outstading tax demand .

07 December 2015 you have sent the document to the AO or you actually went tax office and submitted the application for rectification?

13 December 2015 I submitted personally and received acknowledgement after submission of revised return six years ago. Yesterday I sent again with all evidences of submission of revised return to Jurisdiction A.O. and copy to
CPC, Bangalore by SPEED POST.

13 December 2015 you will have to go and meet the jurisdictional AO personally. CPC is of no use for this

15 December 2015 In response to my letter CPC, Bangalore withdrew outstanding Tax Demand & issued Refund instruction ( full amout with int.) to my email and it is confirmed in online REFUND STATUS.
