Please confirm that premium paid for Policy Home assure (Plan of ICICI Prudential)
entitled to benefit U/S 80 C of the Income tax Act, 1961.

03 February 2012 It would be depending on the type and benefits of the policy if the policy made on the life of the person/human being then it get the benefit U/S80C all the life insurance policies which are made on the human beings life are eligible to get deduction U/S 80C however if on the premium receipt or on the policy bond it noticed the benefit as per section 80C eligible then undoubtedly you can claim benefit U/S80C
