I wanna know that can tax audit report be filed without furnishing return of income ?
If yes then what is the procedure ?

13 February 2009 From A.Y 2008-09, it is compulsory for every person required to get his books of accounts audited u/s 44AB to furnish his return of income in an electronic form.
When the return is submitted electronically, there is no need to submit audit report.

13 February 2009 True, but that in the return form itself, all the details of tax audit report has to be filled. So in a way, tax audit becomes required to be finalised at the time of filing of ITR.

YOU HAVE TO FILE THE SAME ALONG WITH A COVERING LETTER WITH YOUR ITO UNDER WHOSE JURISDICTION YOUR RETURN IS FILED/PROCESSED, AND WHEN YOU FILE YOUR RETURN YOU HAVE TO ATTACH A COPY OF YOUR T.A REPORT ALONG WITH THE COPY OF ACK LETTER & ALSO MENTION THE ACK.NO OF FILING OF YOUR TA REPORT EARLIER

15 February 2009 Yes.
It can be filed by bribing the AO.
But that is not the procedure as per law.
