28 April 2011 whether tax audit u/s. 44 AB limit of 45 audit is for a calender year or for a financial year ?

28 April 2011 If turn over exceeds certain limit then the person has to audits its accounts before Sep.

That means in my opinion Tax audit is particular to assessment year.

and it is not taking about financial year or calender

You have derived the clause from IT act. Dear tax audit limit for a CA is not prescribed by IT act, It is prescribed by ICAI

29 April 2011 If a ca sign tax audit reports related to two different assessment year then it will be counted for tax audit limit of two different year or for single year ??????????????

The Central Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has increased the ceiling on the number of tax audit assignments that a chartered accountant can accept in a financial year either as partner or proprietor.
