Can we do Income Tax Audit and VAT(Maharashtra) audit for the FY 2016-17
and can we file return for the same??

07 August 2018 you can file the income- tax return for FY 2016-17 only if there is a refund claim. Otherwise, the due date has already passed. If the audit was applicable, then also be prepared for paying penalty under 271B
