Tax audit

08 January 2013 One of my client was in tax audit. But due to ignorance she didn't conducted tax audit for last three years. Now Income Tax Department has issued penalty against her. What is remedy for this situation@

Ignorance of law is no excuse.

Penalty cannot be avoided.

Asper section 119 CBDT can consider the the request and penalty can reduced.
