19 December 2010 how to update my knowledge , i gave my attemp in nov 2011 (ipcc) , dint do well , now i want to prepare for may 2011 so how to preprare for tax, b'coz there will be a lot of changes in rates and other provisions

20 December 2010 Basic of tax is nver going to change, try to understand the basics and method of interperation of tax. forget the rates and amendment, you can read these two before going to exam hall.

Supplementary study paper is available in ICAI website.
Finance act,2010 is applicable for May 2011 exam.

21 December 2010 Sir,go to ICAI.ORG.In students sections you can find BOS section there you will find the supplementary study material for both direct and indirect taxes.Its a must to read because every exam has more than 20 marks covering amendments.
