16 July 2015 Hello,
I had applied for a TAN one month ago, but the same has not been alloted till now.Please tell me what can i do in this case and also whether we have to pay penalty if we file TDS return after due date, due to non-availability of TAN?

16 July 2015 I had already tried both.Status shows from last 15 days as under process under IT office, and on phone they are saying wait for 3-4 days from last 3 times.

One more thing, after allotment of TAN whether we have to pay penalty for late filing of TDS return, as we was unable to file same without TAN.

16 July 2015 In that case dear, both penalty and interest will b charged..
