Dear Sirs
I have a client ( Private Limited Co) in Mumbai having TAN with Mumbai jurisdiction. Later the address was changed and office was shifted from mumbai to delhi. and we got the address changed and applied for fresh TAN No because the state is different. The jurisdiction shifted from Mumbai to Delhi and Fresh TAN was allotted.
Now i want to surrender the Mumbai based TAN No.
Please clarify the following:
-What is the process of surrendering the same
- whether 3rd qtr return for f.y 2014-15 should be filed using old TAN No. all taxes were paid using old TAN No.
-when should i surrender old TAN No because i am filing return using old Number. so Form 16 A will be downloaded using that number only
- some defaults are appearing on Traces on Old TAN No. what to do with that defaults. Should i rectify that defaults first and then surrender the old TAN No.
-will 26 AS of deductee not be affetced. because i will surrender old No and TDS amount for 3 quateres will have old number.
