HI
I HAVE APPLIED TAN AND ALLOTTED IT AND MADE PAYMENTS AND SUBMITTED RETURNS ALSO.
BUT WHEN AM GOING TO REGISTER ON TRACE NOT HAPPENS. FINALLY I FOUND THE TAN IS ALLOTTED UNDER FIRM. ACTUAL TAN HAS TO BE UNDER PROPRIETOR SOLE.
NOW CAN CHANGE THE CORRECTION FROM FIRM TO SOLE OF PROPRIETOR.
AND SAME TAN NO WILL BE CONTINUE? OTHER WISE IF SURRENDER OLD TAN AND APPLY NEW TAN THEN HOW TO DO THAT OLD TAN RETURNS AND TDS PAYMENTS

Apply in the name of the proprietor new TAN Number and surrender the old TAN Number which is allotted to you in the name of the firm.
