19 March 2010 AAA. While exporting files to excel we are facing problem like we are using excel 2007 and tally 7.2 is there any problem of compatibility in this combination.
Please suggest how to tackle this is issue.
Because every time its very difficult to punch figures manually.

BBB. Another question on income tax:
Ready template for short term capital gain calculation in excel having details whether brokerage paid is allowable expenses / cost and date of allotment is trated as acquired date. Other details rate, rebates available about the shares.

21 March 2010 tally 7.2 not having direct export option.first you should export to HTML and the same file you can open in excel format

30 March 2010 Better option is to export it to ASCII (comma separated values) format and then open in Excel.

(the Best option is to shift to Tally ERP 9 latest version)
