25 July 2013 I wish to know "How to enter opening and closing stock in Tally 9?" The inventory is not integrated.
May i know the accounting entries too?
If I give the entry:

Debit: Closing stock
Credit: Trading Account

How can I give it in Tally

25 July 2013 there is not need to pass any entry.

Open the balance sheet or p&l account place the curser in to closing stock and double click or enter it will open the box there you can mention as on date and what is the value of stock manually. system will adjust automatically the value
