Could you please let me know how can i freeze a voucher number in tally so that if any entry is made in post date the voucher number of earlier entries does not change.

12 December 2012 Click on the tally audit vault. It keeps the track / trail of all changes made subsequent to posting.

as per my knowledge by posing post dated voucher, voucher no. doesnt change, it must be back dated voucher.

So you have to disable back dated rights in tally, or make nubering system to manual in tally. There is no other way out in tally at present or you have to go for customisation through tally vendors.
