How to open a tally data file that is sent via email as attachment

10 September 2012 1. If the file is in zipped format, then unzip it.

2. Copy the data file in the folder in which Tally data is stored.

3. Then run Tally. The file name and number will be displayed. Open it.

10 September 2012 Its not zipped.

Its jus the TBK900.001,I had downloaded and saved to data in Tally , but still is not appearing in my tally.

10 September 2012 so, now you need to restore it from tall options...1,open tally 2,restore 3,put destination & source same (now you can see your com) 4, select 5, restore it...finished

10 September 2012 but take care of same number of tally 001 first change that tally into other no. or copy it from date file then do that exercise..
