Can a CA Firm on its name have a demat a/c and acquire shares of any listed company through open market purchase & oppen offer.

b)
Can a CA Firm be a stake-holder in a Pvt. Ltd Co.

b)Shares cannot be issued in the name of a partnership firm.

22 October 2008 A) YES THEY CAN HAV A DEEMAT ACCOUNT YA...AND THEY CAN DO PURCHASE FROM OPEN MARKET(SUBJECT TO SEBI GUIDELINES LIKE MAX NO OF SHARES CAN BE ACQUIRED)

B) THEY CAN BECOME A SHARE HOLDER IN A PVT LTD COMPANY.(HOWEVER HE CANNOT BE AN AUDITOR FOR THE SAME COOMPANY)




30 October 2008 Shares can not be issued in the name of partnership firm.
