21 April 2011 I want to surrender service tax number.
pls tell me the procedure how to surrender service tax number?

I had taken the number in jan 2009, by filed manual application is st-1.

now, is it possible to surrender online?

23 April 2011 It will be possible to surrender the ST Number online but first you have to take your User ID and Password from your Range and see that this Service Tax Number appears against such User ID.
