04 December 2010 Dear Sir,
I am online apply ST-1 and submit hard copy into the service tax range, still now i am not received ST-2. I want to cancel my ST-1.

Please suggest me what should I do for the same ?

04 December 2010 what happened ?

why you want to cancel you registration ?

if you have any problem with dept. then go to the ST dept. dept. will give you st-2 and afterthan you can also received your st-2 from s.t website https://www.aces.gov.in/

06 December 2010 Thanks for suggestion. I want to quit from service Tax. my registration is not processed by concern dept, only I am deposited hard copy of ST-1. pls. suggest me for cancellation of ST-1.

09 December 2010 Service tax registration will have to do when if t.o/g.r goes over the limit of registration. if you are in that position then you need to contiue to your registraion for that you need to go straight to the dept. and ask for delay in issuing ST-2 and if your going on Volunterly basis then write a letter to dept. sub that we don't need to registered right now when we at the time of compulsory registration then we will do that again.
